Thomas Collins We comply with the Law Society's practice management standard. It is a scheme for any type of practice to certify that certain standards have been met following independent assessment. The Lexcel practice management standard is only awarded to solicitors who meet the highest management and customer care standards. Lexcel accredited practices undergo rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure they meet required standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.
We aim to provide a high quality legal service which is flexible, efficient, sensitive and value for money. This means that:
*   Every case is thoroughly prepared;
*   Staff will meet all reasonable deadlines;
*   Staff are trained to give a polite, efficient and friendly                service;
*   Competitive fee rates;
*   We hope you have no cause for complaint but if the        need arises our internal complaints procedure offers         prompt and effective redress.
We aim to meet the following targets:
*   Our switchboard is open between 9.00am and       5.30pm and the aim is to answer all calls within 30       seconds;
*   Reply emails queries on the same day;
*   Respond to all telephone messages within 24 hours;
It is our policy to operate a quality assurance strategy that will fully meet the requirements of LEXAL and provide a professional service which generates work and income from satisfying, or even delighting the client. We recognise that achieving these standards depends on the wholehearted cooperation, motivation and involvement of all staff members.

Client Care
Client care is our number one focus at Adams. Over 80% of our business is the result of recommendations from previous and current clients, repeat business from those clients, or referrals from our extensive network of professional contacts, including estate agents, accountancy firms and others. However, we do not rest on our laurels. To help ensure that our services is always improved and tailored to meet the changing needs of our clients, we run a rolling programme of client surveys. These are conducted by our business development manager by phone, towards the end or following a transaction. Results are collated on a regular basis and fed back to the solicitors concerned.  We believe that this attention to client service is one of the many factors that sets us clearly apart from our competitors.
